A GRADE II-LISTED

CAPTAIN’S HOUSE

A warm, smart Grade-II listed Victorian

townhouse in a leafy enclave of South

London.

Practicalites and aesthetics go hand

in hand in this smart yet incredibly

liveable family home.

The interior is the result of a

harmonius working partnership

between My-Studio and Matthew

Giles Architects.

Calming colours were chosen in

this open plan kitchen, with black

and copper peach accents for a

sophisticated look.

Sumptuous velvets, Murano glass and

mid-century pieces make this home

both livable and family-oriented.

A smart entrance hall filled with an

encaustic mint green tile, Danish

wool stair runner and continuous

oak handrail sets the scene.

The family bathroom brings contemporary

elements to the Victorian shell, with an

invigorating and relaxing pebble bath at the

centre of the design.

A smart zellige blue floor contrasts

with a vaulted ceiling, painted in

plaster pink for a cocooning effect.

Complimenting Matthew Giles’ architectural work, My-Studio has sprinked some interiors magic on the furniture and finishes.
