A Victorian Villa

Victorian villas can be dark spaces.

Our brief at Hammersmith Grove was

to open up the rooms to create,
warm, lively contemporary interiors.

The bespoke kitchen is a calm, light

space, crackle glaze tiles on the

chimney breast, the 60’s pendants

add character.

Opening up the ground floor has

transformed how our clients live,

work and socialise in the space.

The island at the centre of the house

wrapped in carrara marble,

brings the family together.

Crittall glazing brings light to this dining

room, styled with Lambert and Fils

contemporary chandeliers.

Behind every door is a story.

We designed these panelled, jib doors to

hide secret thrilling spaces behind them.

When I first met Clare we both clicked.

She has totally transformed the way we live in the house.

— Gillian Godwin

The style reflects all members of

the family – those that favoured

clean-lined contemporary and

those that loved colour and warmth.
